GCSE Maths examination… Sounds scary, right?
Unfortunately, if you are planning to get the General Certificate of Secondary Education, you will have to face this exam. This is the bad news. But the good news is that after reading this article you will have more chances to complete it with the desired records.
Dividing GCSE Maths into sections:
GCSE Maths examination will necessarily cover the following areas of this science: Algebra, graphs, numbers, questions on space and shape, and measures. This list is rather long, and each section has its own numerous subdivisions (bad news). If you organize your time wisely and devote some time to each section, you will be able to handle GCSE maths exam (good news).
So, let us spend some time describing and overviewing briefly each section of the GCSE maths examination:
- Algebra. Your main objective should be the revision of the most widespread maths formulas and practicing to solve equations. However, it would be useful to review your algebra course notebook to find other topics to revise.
- Graphs’ and Numbers’ section of the GCSE Maths exam. In order to pass your GCSE Maths examination you will need to have some knowledge of different types of graphs(straight-line, parallel, cubic and graphs of circle and curve), as well as various kinds of numbers (positive, negative, fractions) and operations with them(addition and subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Questions on space, shape and measures of the GCSE Maths examination. You will have to gain some knowledge on trigonometry, coordinates and symmetry.
The GCSE Maths examination is not that undertaking task nowadays. The key advice for you is to find all your notes from your algebra course and to go through them, dividing the material into sections and devoting proportionate amount of time to every section.
